This 15mm Teflon® PTFE micro stir bar can be used for stirring test tubes, micro-beakers, and other small containers. The stir bar is covered in Teflon® PTFE white resin and features an Alnico V magnetic core which is one of the most powerful permanent magnet alloys available. Stir bar should not be stored in a random mass or dropped on a hard surface, especially steel. Stir bar should be stored in pairs to maintain magnetic strength. Length: 15mm (9/16 inch).
